General Car Chat / Re: Dumb motorways ....

Listening to the  audio of the bloke calling in his breakdown is chilling  :o
Any govt minister or adviser planning how they make the smart roads safer, obviously now need to spend some  time in a live lane @ night with the motor turned off  :)

I live in the burbs & the parking my way is a nightmare  >:(
Next door,,, Mum has a car & so does Dad not forgetting  his van & eldest boy has the same.
Now their girl is learning & has a fiesta, her pink scooter is now just left on the pavement.

We`ve got 3 cars 3 bikes, a van &   the driveway is currently blocked by a caravan   ::) & that`s just 2 houses out of 20 in our road  ::)

Is E cars milk floats??  Could admin ban all talk of milk floats, as they have the same effect as, any type of vegetablist, dogooder, they need banning.

As kids these are probably the ppl that spent most of their school careers getting their heads flushed down the nearest toilet  :-\

Communist :P

Lord Voldemort more like...

They told the world that 500,000 people took part, and that is possibly true, but it doesn't mean that they actually voted for Corbyn or anyone else. The Politburo that runs Nomentum could simply have gone through the motions and presented 'He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy as leader... After all, if it's good enough for His Highest Excellency Putin The Unequivocable then it's good enough for the lefty loons here.

Besides, don't forget that Bernie Sanders won every Primary against Hillarious Clinton, yet the still presented her as their presidential candidate as elected...

If the Antisocialists in the Land of the Free and Home of the Brave, [insert doffed cap smiley here] feel that is appropriate, then I can see no reason why they wouldn't do the same here :-X

Be better off spending £25 on a packet of fags and a lottery ticket ;)

 ;D ;D ;D

And I wouldn't trust them to count the votes for the candidates they don't want :-X

But it`s on record that more than 500,000 people took part in the last leadership contest, & Sir Jeremy was re-elected in 2016. or maybe Lord Corbyn sounds better  :-\

"A force for good and a force for change" ; rather catchy I thought  :)

Omega General Help / Re: Accelera Tyres
« on: 31 December 2019, 15:06:29 »
Your in that London place, there's plenty of  little side street, tyre fitting places that do some good deals, and I would think you could get the tyre that you want fitted, for £70 a corner.
Stop over thinking a simple issue.
They're disappearing faster than pubs. A decent sized premises is worth far more as a building site than as a business.

I dropped a young Polish gal I work with up to a strange place called Feltham just before Xmas. Her sister used to work in a local pub, but some upgrades were made & that pub is now a Tesco Express   :o

Nice of you to save her the walk of shame :y ;D

I thought it was my duty to.........   :-[
Nah she`s well out of my league, although I did get a peck on the cheek  ;D

length of clear narrow bore tube & suck on the end  ;D worked for me

I don’t know who will agree with me on this but I find these fog lights absolutely useless, so if I was you I wouldn’t bother 8)
They work quite well at illuminating the kerb/verge in heavy fog.

Obviously the world is full of 'tards who think they should have them on all the time, as the opps you I'm OK Jack attitude spreads :(

agree ,  the other night I relied upon them to stay in touch with the nearside & kept running into pockets of mist/ fog behind the South Downs. Not helped by another car, that had latched onto me & was using me to light his way ahead  ;D

Omega General Help / Re: Blowing exhaust manifold
« on: 30 December 2019, 23:12:32 »
I watched a YT video where a bloke fixed a cracked EX manifold  :)
A powerful vacuum cleaner nozzle was shoved up the exhaust pipe & 2 part liquid metal was painted over the crack & was seen to be sucked down into it.
I do like the idea of this  ;D  even if does sound bonkers

It's easy enough to get jizz stains off cloth seats :-X

Nope those Marina boys didn`t even have to worry about a damp patch  8)
It was probably even mentioned in the glossy BL ads that appeared in Mayfair or Penthouse

OMG not again.....  ::)

Could any of the old slappers from your Marina days help out?

Back in the Marina days they were enthusiastic nubile young wenches!  :y

Any girl full of scrumpy, was entusiastic, especially in doorset, when she saw one of them new fangled car thingys. :)

I can see the  BL vinyl seat covers in that passion wagon being a bonus  :y
A quick spit & wipe over & John Travolta Sir Tig was ready for the next lovely  :-*
