No need to shout, It's been on the news since lunchtime ::)

Such sensationalism is totally unnecessary as it simply plays straight into the hands of the Mischief Pixies :-\

Some people of Pakistani origin thought it might be clever to disrupt a Pakistan Airlines flight. A bit of an own goal don't you think. Scrambling fighters is simply a standard reaction to specific threats and hardly a big surprise given various events over the last decade or so...

was'nt aware i was....BUT (now i am) this is the purpose of the general discussion area....to discuss events that have happened...as for being on the news since lunchtime some of us dont have the time to sit and watch tv since lunch time

So.. Just in case it was going to crash and burn, they turned it round and flew over Middlesbrough, Hull, Grimsby, Boston, King's lynn. Missed Skeggy, though... But.. It wasn't to be. Perhaps next time. ;)

its worse than that as if it did have to happen they will force it out over the thames gateway/ramsgate channel area to remove it from the sky....wonder if paul lovejoy wants to move???
