Tablet virus help
« on: 02 November 2014, 10:23:14 »

Hi all.

My housemates tablet has a virus. I've been trying to get rid of it without success. I've tried using a few virus programs but they didn't work.

One program said ' The malicious programs have been flashed into the system directory. Root privileges are required to remove them. Please grant root privileges to 360 security or re flash your device with an official ROM

com.android.server
Trojan

com.android.popupview
Trojan

GoogleCalendarPluginService
Trojan '

I tired giving the 360 program root privileges but it didn't make any difference.

Has anyone got any ideas? I haven't got a clue with these tablets.

It's one of these cheap tablets from China. I think the make is called 'All Winner' or something like that.

Any help would be much appreciated. :y

Dont use Droid myself, but you could try these -

https://www.malwarebytes.org/mobile/

http://www.iobit.com/advanced-mobile-care.php

Cant help feeling that if Malwarebytes wont shift it, then probably nothing will, could be restore from a Backup time or another fresh re Install if they have the knowhow.
