A340-600... Unusual by virtue of a) being here..  Lufthansa don't operate to Gatwick and b) by being here... There's a couple of Flyjet A340-200s based here, and occasionally a heavy duty one with Trents on it, but never this variant :y

Another visitor today...



Fell out of the ugly stick and hit every branch on the way down, C17 iirc. Noisy as you like and needed all 10,600 feet to take of, so Christ alone knows what was in it :o

Photo was last minute opportunity so forgot to zoom it :-[
