Doubt very much that they'd get away with a couple of the names in Captain Pugwash today though ;) Daktari ah,yes with Clarence the cross eyed lion :)

You want to google Captain Pugwash.....I used to like that programme as a youngster....I think you'll find the names your thinking of were made up and not the real characters  ;)

For example....Your thinking...."Roger the the cabin boy".....his name was actually Tom.....
Also...your thinking "Master Bates" his name was actually Master Mate  ;)

The two before that were Four Feather Falls and Supercar.

You are right!  My memory at times plays tricks, and when I checked on Google there was the correct title ::) ::) ::) ;D ;D

and Gerry Anderson did not create this one apparently, but he did produce the second series..........that was when I first saw/recognised his name as a 7 year old! :D ;)

Can anyone remember a series that ran on bbc1 for several years in the late sixties it was in black and white and was based around a pool surrounded by rocks. It was produced in an eastern European country possibly Rumania and the main characters were a girl, a giant gold fish and a dwarf, can anyone recall the name of this programme? sounds weird I know or did I dream it?
