I don't suffer from it, but I've read about it in The Lancet.

Oh, come on chaps.  Corrie no doubt had a good budget for this production, but they would not have had a Hollywood blockbuster one! ::) ::) ::) ::)

Given that this is a soap, a tv drama, I think they did very well.  The way the tram come off the rails and fell, with the second carriage acting in the way it did, I believe mirrored quite faithfully what happens in those cicumstances.  With modern coaching stock it does remain intact in most cases, unlike those coaches of yesteryear that disentergrated.................but don't get me going on that as I will then start describing the big disasters of that time..............!!!  ::) ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D :y :y

Crossroads was a proper soap. Everyone forgot their lines, the set used to move around for no apparent reason. The walls would wobble when someone closed a door and then the door would open again by itself. Hilarious. Later parodied by Victoria Wood iirc. :)
My old mum never missed an episode either.

Remember Miss Diane and Benny ? Benny wandered off to get a spanner one day and never reappeared. ;D ;D

Ok watched it last night and found it very hard hitting  with some of the subjects they covered as I gone thro one of the subjects they covered ........ SBCare unit is not a nice place to be in  after  you become a dad for the first time. It did bring  back all the memories of those terrrible wks we spent in there.

The other one that got me thinking was the young lad Gary  who plays the injured solder  and was wandering how many of our real troops go through this once they return home after being injured  ????
