Play in front wheel
« on: 04 September 2009, 08:46:49 »

It's MOT time for my 2000 2.5 V6 elite and I have a small amount of play in the o/s front wheel, left to right. There is no play up and down. Can anybody tell me what it might be please.

If its 3-9 Oclock play with none at 12-6 then it will be track rod end or steering idler.

Whilcy wiggling the wheel, observe these 2 components to see which one is the cause (steering idler is the most likely)
