Shock Absorbers??
« on: 09 August 2010, 18:08:01 »

My car seems to dip too much to the front drivers side corner under braking. How can I work out if it is the damper??? (they are gas filled????)
I have had new wishbones, droplinks, discs, steering idler recently fitted & 4 wheel alignment done at WIM.
Also when I turn sharp left there is a metallic scraping noise,,,,,help
cheers
Paul

difficult to say if the shocks are fubar. Bouncing each corner could give a comparison.
Examin springs, but may question if its worth changing shocks and springs if you need to dismantle.
