-Wash the car (if the weather holds out)
-Have a look over the car at a few bits, check all levels etc for hubby to go away on wednesday.

Bit nasty out there to get under the "Miggy"

But am off to an all day "live" instrumental music convention on Sunday. Usual "Surf & Shads" stuff, but should be good. 5 bands on plus CD stalls etc.  :-[ :-[ :-[ :(

Recovering from an unplanned 6 hour session on Thursday night, just popped in for a quick pint on way home at 5.45. Got in early morning. Her indoors has got the sander going on the skirting boards so I am in the shed. Wireless internet is a godsend.

I am continuing work on 'Little Z' my new dinghy which I am building out of plywood.  She is a forerunner to my future project (in a few years) which will be called 'Big Z' (Its all to do with the film Surf's Up and the fact that the design of the big boat is called the Penguin)  :P

The dinghy is an 11 footer plywood construction which when wood, sails, paint and epoxy, etc are taken into account it will have cost me about 250-300 quid!

Big Z is a 21ft trailer sailor which I am considering.  Will take about £2K to build (compared to about 15-20K new) should have it done in a year once I start.  I have also been looking at another design which is quicker to sail but bigger and more comfortable yet only another k or so more expensive to build. Only concern is the width which at 2.83m (9'3") I think is too wide to legally trailer around the UK without police escort, need to keep on my research before I decide.

I have all the hull of the dinghy together now its just a case of getting off my arse every 6 hours to slap on another coat of epoxy .... on with the gloves   :o ;D

Or

Doing a more permenent fix to the tractor after the dipstick tube 'fell off'!

That's an easy fix just fit a smaller dipstick.

seeing if i have the cash to do my cambelt and shocks, camber, and buy some new wheels (then sell my elite wheels :D)

then chances are, the money going into the bank might actually be more than the money coming out!!

Weekend started early for me. Took the day off yesterday and went to London. Saw the Cure at Wembley last night (belated Christmas present from Mrs. KW), which was excellent. ears still ringing.

Just got back and tomorrow's fun and games will be welding the exhaust on the Westfield so it doesn't leak and rattle for the MOT, sort out a few odd jobs on the glider trailer if the weather's OK (yeah, right) and maybe tow it over to Kent for its' C of A if the wind drops (yeah, right).

More likely rebuilding the engine on a generator (my first tractor project) I bought as a non-runner for the radio club on ebay (DPO ran it without oil by the look of things) ::)

Shouldn't be bored with any luck.

Busy day today - filled up with gas, went to town and bought a Parkside HTV kit. After dinner went to Webbs to do the Easter Egg hunt and let the children play in the play area.

On the way back I picked up the coolant transfer pipe for project 2.6TEO

Been out walking today with my two year old wailing in the back pack she was in for half an hour - came back when it started snowing!

Tomorrow - hopefully 5 miles in a kayak on some swolen local river and then on to my parents for the weekend.

Zoo on Sunday, travel home Monday, canoeing again Tuesday - then back to work  :y
