Went Omega shopping this afternoon. New camshaft sensor, new generator belt. Good brands, no ebay junk. 100 Euro at my local dealer. Will do the replacement next weekend. Changed some sealings a week ago. No new oil drops on my parking lot  :)

Wow! this year is outstanding. April was like May, May did a hot June, June did a real good July and July is on the best way to explode somewhere in the record heights.  No moskitos - too dry. July average temperature will reach 20° all over the country. Peek something around 22°C, average, means daily height around 28...30°C all over July so far.  But the biggest heat has not started yet. I think next week we will cross the 35°C line.

Back on the road again, after 18 month of Caravan driving.

fotos online kostenlosth.

Needs Tuev in August, so I changed some sealings and all front lights.

Cambelt new in June, also front crank sealing, rolls,  water pump and hydros

General service done. Runs great. No bodywork needed.

Found a nice Irmscher front on a scrape yard.

If I will find the time, I will do some painting later this summer, but first the Estate needs a new front suspension.

Well done boys.....

Getting older, nowadays i prefer moderate cruising. 100 mph is enough. That is Omega 4 pot feelgood speed. No noise, soft gliding. But the Mercs are still there....

Berlin -> Bremen - 410 km - my best time was 129 minutes, using an Opel Senator B 3.0i 24V

Looks like you are getting old. Did you forget May 1889? In central Europe it was the warmest one until 2018

List of the 25 warmest Mays.

Actual June level is at 22°C average in the warmest regions (Rhine / Main area). That is Varche level :D

Hi Shackeng

Yes, i heard about a heatwave in the north. 30°C in Norway....

But i was talking about average temperatures. 16°C all over the country, day and night, including the Alps.

That was the Situation in Potsdam, southwest of Berlin.....

Hotest May ever recorded!

16°C average temperature in Germany. The range is from 15°C up to 18°C. That is a good June level.

High Dave

I was on my way from Lahr to Stuttgart to present my big turntable at the Audiophile magazine. No thought about beer gardens....hard busyness.

It ended up successful. The turntable was weighted "State of Art"

We went into the beer garden later that evening...i remember it was still hot outside, 30°C at midnight.
