Title: 03 vectra brake question....

changed the front pads on my mates 03 vectra 2.2 elite the other day and re-connected the sensor but the brake warning light is still illuminated....the rear pads are very low also but i was told the rears dont have wear sensors??? does the light need re-setting in some way or is it the rears showing now? many thanks guys.

you may of broke the sensor when putting back in pad, dose happen.

Probably the sensor is not seated right mate,and i have never known them to have rear sensors. :y

Rear brakes on Veccy "C" does not have sensors you will have to replace the front sensor as if it has tripped the light it is now U/S even if it looks OK they are only a few pounds from the main Stealers !!!!!!

Have you still got the old sensor(s)? Chop the (wheel) end off, strip the ends back & connect them together, & refit to the car. If the light goes out, your new sensors are damaged.  :y  :y
