I followed an 04 reg Omega estate along the A12 and into Witham yesterday.It was silver with CDX wheels and badges wich would suggest not ex plod. Didnt know retail ones were registered as late as 04.
I could clearly see the wadding from the exhaust struggling to make its way out of the tailpipe too.

My local vx had a 2.6 elite in the dealers for 12k brand new in late 04 .

If it had been a 3.2 and not in a vets fore arm colour I would of had it. But then, there needed to be a reason why it hadn't sold, as it was the last one in the group.

It was an Aubergine type effort. A mix of red and brown. Not my favourite personally.

My estate was registered in May 2004 and I overtook an identical silver one with a very similar registration to mine on the A12 near Chelmsford last year so there are a few around.  In fact the one I overtook may be the same one that Albitz saw.
