Numpty shopkeepers/traders who still put advertising A-boards outside their shops, even though there's a howling gale. Saw a woman hit by one today.

Well if it's space you need...  8)

Otherwise, you might as well save your pension!  ;D

For the £10-£15,000 your elderly uncle has to spare he could buy an excellent almost new Dacia.

Of course it has no street cred, but then neither does he. 8)
Correct but, like the Freelander, not enough room at the rear. It's going to have to be an estate, probably, but that doesn't solve the problem of me sitting low down.
Have you completely given up on CRVs then Steve?
Don't know, Ron, I'm just a confused old man  ;D
Well, we all know that.  ;D :y

Saw a Jogger being delivered to a house just down the road from me. Don't know them well enough to ask them what they think of it.

They let you taxi on the runway? Blimey  :o

If you're still keen on CRV's, why not look for one without the hideous tan interior. I'm sure there must be plenty around with all the elderly owners dying off.  ;)

I'm quite happy with my SKY+ box, but they keep contacting me to 'upgrade' to SKY Q

I was, but after hearing the benefits, I changed to Sky Q

Can record 3 channels at the same time  - so they told me.
Search facillies are better. etc.

If you lose the remote you can press a button on the box and the remote will buzz.  (used that facility a few times)

A lot better box all round. :y

It never belongs to us as the old boxes did.
Cant use the old box as a 2nd unit  so I was told.

I got it dor £20 a month so no complaints from me. :y
I have trouble finding one channel that's worth watching, never mind recording.[/highlight]
Search facilities? Easy, even on sky+ box
I don't lose my remote and, if I do, I have two more  ;D
;D ;D I was going to say the same thing in an answer to Scruntie' post, until i read yours. Very true Steve.  :)

There aren't many people of a certain age who haven't had a Rover at some stage of their life.
That will be me.

Never had the faintest inclination to own a BL/Rover product.
I had an Austin A55 once, does that count? :D
