Is it the same method on a pre-face lift model. At night the computer screen is fine..nice and bright.

During the day....can't see a soddin' thing...no matter where the sun is shining from.

have you tried adjusting the brightness ?? It's linked to the dimmer switch for the panel lights, down by the headlight switch .... try turning it fully the other way ... :)

Funny you should mention that.

Actually, during the day, although its dimmer than a drunk blonde I can JUST read it..if i get close up..NOT while i'm driving of course and no matter how much I turn the dial up and down, it doesn't get any brighter...or for that matter, any worse either..spooky. but a PITA.

I assume you haven't changed the bulbs for gay blue LEDs.  In which case, pop the MID out and check the 2/4 (depending on type) bulbs
