Title: Astra glovebox will not open

With apologies, the glovebox on the Astra I bought yesterday will not open. How do I rectify this doing least damage?

Have you unlocked it?

If yes, try pushing it closed as you pull the handle... Probably jammed by the book pack getting snagged ;)

Thanks Doc. This car is now in Chippenham, but the Astra I bought yesterday does not have a lock on the glovebox - both Astras are Design modles, whatever that means. I have instructed son to try the other trick.
