Thermostat change
« on: 03 October 2008, 09:04:46 »

Now we've had a spell of colder weather I've noticed the temp gauge hardly moves off its stop for a good few miles, thinking probably the thermostats jammed.

Is there (couldn't find one) a 'how to' in the maintenance section, if not what have I got to remove to get to it.. And where is it ?

In the valley.  Bit of a pig, and there is a nasty bolt which holds the transfer pipe (and dipstick) in place.

Oh, absolutely!  And the injector rail/inlets.  Thats the easy bit.

Tricky bit is bolt that holds transfer pipe on, and then seperating transfer pipe from stat.  Probably worth having a spare transfer pipe available.
