If my little Shitroen C1 goes bang within the next couple of years or so,  I may buy a cheap used  EV for commuting.
I can charge for free at work, so it might be worthwhile.
Im planning on working for just under four more years, so we shall see how much longer the little C1 stands up to the abuse.

Its getting beyond a joke now.

What used to be a national treasure, has over the years become a national disgrace and embarrassment.
Time to get rid of the archaic license fee and let those who still love it pay its costs from their subscriptions.

Well, she does need it more than I do. 
As things stand, most of that will be saved by the fact Ive stopped paying NIC,s.
Its rumoured though that she is going to increase income tax and also reduce NIC,s by the same amount.
If she does that it will hammer me.
Still, its bloody unreasonable to expect fair or decent treatment from the State after working and contributing for 50 years and counting.

Yep, you win the cigar.   
Just started claiming state pension. Wife isnt employed so I make use of 10% of her allowance.
Theres also a reduction for employer provided private health insurance.

If his enemies within dont bring him down quickly, I imagine he will sacrifice Rachel from complaints to try to save his own skin after next May,s Council elections.
Once he does that, his human shield will be gone and it will all unravel for him. I doubt he will still be there by this time next year, whatever unfolds.

Downtown Belfast in the 70,s was a great place. I loved it. No idea why I left apart from a scarcity of jobs, and youthful impetuosity. 
Never planned on staying in England for more than about a year. Then I met a girl.
Woke up about 5 years later with a Wife, two kids and mortgage, and thought " wtf happened there ? !!".

The company that made the episode of Panorama that caused all the trouble ( October films) is currently producing a documentary on the Reform party.
Safe to assume it will be a complete hatchet job.

Apparently Trump has just informed the BEEB  that he intends to sue them.
The licence fee is going to have to be hiked next year. 

Surely Nigel will ask him not to.....as a favour, like...

Nigel was saying on TV this morning that its unlikely the licence fee will exist if he gets into number 10.
It will be a subscription service for its fans, and the rest of us wont have to bother with it.
