How the hell  did Starmer appoint a convicted fraudster to his cabinet ffs ?  ???
She was always one of the more shouty ones callling for Tories to resign at the slightest whiff of any wrong doing, no matter how historic.  ::)
Her replacement was in charge of transport in London for several years and monumentally cocked up every area of it she was involved in.  ::)

Got the Bastid bolt back in, top hose fitted - that did put up a bit of a fight.
Pressure tested the system and when it got to around 0.5 bar coolant pissed out from under the stat.  :'( :'( >:(
Its just had a new seal so god knows why its leaking.  ???
Got to  take it all apart for the third time, try and work out what the problem is, and then do it all again.
Maybe buy a new Stat housing in case this one has warped ?  :-\

Refill with just water in case it leaks again again,, you need to check that bolts aren't bottoming, threads are good in the housing, and it hasn't got hairline crack, also check the hose, they can leak, use a new jubilee

Cigar goes to BG.  :y
I shall explain. Its a weird one. The bolts were indeed bottoming out. Had two identical but slightly shorter bolts in my stash and that appears to have fixed the problem.
Put it all back together (bastid bolt went in relatively easily this time) and pressure tested it to 1 bar. No leaks.  8)
The reason its a weird one is the fact that those two bolts have been holding that stat housing in place for the last 6 years or more, and it only started leaking a couple of weeks ago straight after a coolant change.
Explanation ? I cant think of one.  :-\
Have had enough for today, so the fanimold, plenum etc will be a job for tomorrow, then fire it up, top up coolant etc.
But Im pretty confident its sorted now.  :)

Its effing soul destroying to see coolant pissing out after all that messing around to get to that point.
I feel like giving up at the moment, but tomorrow is another day I suppose.
Just sorry I didnt just leave it and top it up once in a while until next summer.  ::)

Seals for Stat and transfer pipe arrived this afternoon. Fitted the stat and transfer pipe, then had a half hearted attempt at fitting the bastid bolt.
Decided to call it a day and have a proper go at it tomorrow.  ::)

A sad day. Vauxhall and Luton have been inextricably linked to one another for a very long time.
Inevitable though. The good old days are long gone.  :(

I'm a bit amused by this.

Think back a few years, how would most people of reacted if such a petition to rerun the Brexit referendum had been started?

Its democracy. "We" voted this shower in, in the same way "we" voted for Brexit.  Man up, get over it, move on.  Don't throw your toys out like spoilt children because democracy didn't go your way.

I kind of agree............although, Brexit achieved 52 % of the vote. Labour achieved around 30% of the vote. But thats the system we have unfortunately.
I think the reason people are so angry is because of the bare faced lies they told and have shamelessly broken their election promises within weeks of taking power.
Remember them promising to fix the historically high tax burden the Tories had inflicted on us ?
Remember  Millibands fully costed scheme to bring down energy bills ?
They met with farmers and promised full support and not to impose any more tax on them etc. etc. etc.

And of course there were petitions, marches, court cases, deliberate paralysis of our Parliament,  and anything else you can think of to overturn the Brexit referendum.
They were all fully supported by Starmer, Lammy and most other members of the current Government.

Edit. Have just read the various posts above, mosst of which have covered most of what I just posted. Oh well, thats two minutes I wont get back.  :)
