Been advised the same on Porsche forum
Most of the hose clips look a bit tired with some rust visible, but no signs of leakage. Leak may be so small it could be like a vapour and not a visible leak.
Im not going to remove and replace them all though. Im at the point where Ive done all Im going to do and its going as it is.

The idiot towing a tin (plastic?) tent, no idea how wide it was and almost stopped when an artic came the other way and then they were cutting corners.

I have found hose clips rotted through on some while doing MOT. 911s as well suffer.

If it's been pulling that big box around for a good time, I wouldn't think the auto box is up to much.

Big box? I bet you wouldn't even notice it's there! 

Took it out and checked it. Its fine. In fact it looks quite new. I was really hoping that would be the culprit, but nope.

Heater matrix?

It's a proper gearbox... None of that chocolatey AR25  nonsense that the Omega got... Should be a 6L80E.

They were sold in OZ as dual fuel.
