Had a ride out to Burghley House with wifey & the youngest Grandson, took the RRS the more I drive it l realise what a bargain I got for £7,000 five years ago power & comfort great combination 👍

Took the Boxster for MOT. Initially failed on a sidelight not working. Changed the bulb but it made no difference.
Found that the connector into the rear of the headlight wasnt seating properly, so remedied that and got a years ticket.

Took the Jag out for a nice airing yesterday, its  performing perfectly and has done for at least six months 😱😱 here’s hoping I haven’t jinxed it now😳

Took the Proper car out for a walk to knock some of cobwebs off it. Being plugged in seems to be keeping on top of the batteries. Which is nice.

               No doubt🤣 but to cheer you up I need an Ecu  from an evo 5 or 6 now so as I can remap as my 2008 moates ostrich emulator is getting corrupt every now and again. Needless to say it’s going to be a tasty financial feast🙁🙁

Put two rear brake cylinders on the wife's puddle jumping Micra.

Replaced the filter in the EGR on hers.

Investigated the oil misting from the dipstick tube on hers - turns out it was actually a pipe from the (other) EGR to intake wasn't sealing, and blowing a little sooty oil.  Looks like last time I removed that I must have dislodged the o-ring on refitting, so schoolboy error on my part.

Investigated the regular "Bonnet Open" errors on hers - cleaned out all the old sticky grease from the latch that side so the switch lever was not getting stuck.


On mine, gave it it's first run since fitting the NSF suspension sensor bought from a real dealer at great expense - £170 - because the ebay shite was, well, shite.  Trip to Suffolk and back presented only one error. Low fuel.  Which was very, very factually correct
