Removed the brand new indicator off hers, and put the one off my XJ on it.

The dealer is supposed to be collecting this one and dropping a new one off today.

Well the fat arsed Insignificant, has decided to have a hissy, the headlight drl/sidelight has stopped working, now these being the afl lights there's a box of tricks located inside the light at the bottom, this box is what I think has ceased to be, now to get at it means trying to dismantle the light, and a s/h light is £400+  O and the little boxes are handed so I'm told, if you can disassemble the light to get it out,,, think it will be heat gun to soften the glue to disassemble.

Driven the new addition ( Toyota Yaris Cross ) to RAF Halton not far from Aylesbury to take our second eldest grandson to complete his last 4 weeks of training, at one point it was indicating 112 mpg ! Returned home about an hour ago & it said over all journeys since picking it up a week ago our average was 84 mpg ,we have covered 251 miles in total,so I decided to check by refuelling and it took 14 litres which is indeed 84 mpg approximately , got to admit I was sceptical about its fuel consumption but I really am amazed on the A1 cruise was set at 70 mph.

RAF Halton
I went to school there for 7 years.  Was marginally less grim back then, though, but hasn't really changed apart from the sports fields.  And one of the 2 schools was mothballed and combined into the smaller one.

If my memory serves me correctly the land on which RAF Halton stands originally belonged to the Rothschild family. They allowed the military to train there before WW1 and the government were eventually allowed to buy the land for training after Rothschild died. Mind you, the Rothschild family still own most of the land around our way.   :)
See, I did listen at school.  ;D

.

Really very proud of our Grandson , he's always wanted to join the forces & of course I've always encouraged him he's sailed.through the first six weeks & just had two weeks home leave  & he's over the moon at the recent pay increase which means his pay whilst training has risen by £7,000 , I told him that the loss of our winter fuel payment has done them a favour...😂
