It will be replacing the C1.Believe it or not I will genuinely miss that little car.
I can drive it absolutely flat out like a complete hooligan and not get into too much trouble.

Should have been installing a replacement steering column & PAS motor into the c1 but DHL seem to have lost the replacement somewhere in their network.
Not a great time to be using the Omega as a daily instead of the C1.

Decent looking 3.9 MV6 coming up for auction. Nice little project for someone.
Cambelt, suspension etc.
End up with a very nice car for £3 - 4000.

Once I had ascertained that the front tyre on the C1 would hold air when the rim was straightened, I felt luck I was having a lucky day.
So, I pulled the whole dashboard out of it and then removed the steering column.
Now need to get another steering column / PAS motor and hopefully put everything back where it came from - which will be the hard part. 
It could be on ebay as spears or rapiers on the next week or two.

Had a bit of luck with this one. Had a look in daylight and the steel rim was bent, allowing the tyre to deflate.
I hammered it straight again with a lump hammer, inflated the tyre and it seems to be holding air ok.

Driving out of the village tonight in the C1, avoiding the worst of the potholes, most of which have traffic cones sat in them to help with this.
Suddenly realised that the cone had gone missing from the last one, just too late and hit it so hard it burst the n/s/f tyre, which was brand new a month ago.
The state of the roads are a national disgrace, but the powers that be couldnt give a toss. 
Will need to check in the morning if anything else is bent / broken.

Keep hammering the regime until the people come back out on the streets and take over the country again.
Then rename it Persia.

Israel seem pretty confident they have cut the head of the snake - which is nice. 
Just hope this doesnt turn into another Iraq / Libya omnishambles.
