Not quite the same but a dragster failed to stop at Long Marston raceway back in the 80s and went through the fence at the top of the track. Fire marshal leapt over the fence and went through what looked like solid ground up to his waist, it was the crust on top of the slurry pit!!

Was hoping to raise some ££s selling the Beetle engine but found the case is scrap due to rear main shuffling , the thrust is on that one and it moves in the case .Bugger.

My new Sabatier Chopping knife I had for Christmas (one with a flat blade like the telly chefs use) that makes an easy job of cutting up stuff, sharp as a razor. Just gently touched the edge chopping onion and sliced my finger!! Nothing bad and its sealed up already , think I need chainmail gloves next!

Booked the Austin in to a very local car show thats in the middle of April, not sure if it will be driving for the and it defo wont be finished.

Works if it has leaves on, ask Basil!! Come down with some sort of lurgy, great as had to do the mega Christmas food and booze shop. 3 trips up the stairs to my 2nd floor flat wheeze, wheeze, cough.
