General Discussion Area / Spotted - Y reg estate M8 Near Glasgow
« on: 12 August 2017, 02:34:53 »
I passed this as I was doing a (legal) speed on the M8 heading East bound toward Glasgow on the 8th of August about 7-8 pm. Was it you? I think it was a 2.6 Estate.

General Car Chat / Re: My Ford Sierra
« on: 12 August 2017, 02:24:55 »
A few years back my brother in law brought an immaculate sierra for £100 and promptly stripped it for banger racing. He is gutted now when i show him what even a badic one goes for >:(

The retrospective regret of the hasty banger racer will never fade! Think mk2 Granada.

Sorry will try and edit-photos came out a bit big!

Put pics in local drive (my pctures e.g.) > right click > open with microsoft office picture manager > edit > set to web small or large and ok then save. Should do the trick.

Akin to dieselgate, I can just see it in 10 years time - "Meter"gate! aka all the hallmarks of "government told us to use these x years ago, we all jumped off that cliff,  now it's costing us a fortune. Yaddeyaddy ya. When will people stop blindly trusting their government 😏 ?

All we really need is one whopper of a sentence for the next attacker, set an example, and it will start putting them off. It worked for the Glasgow razor gangs, so why not this?

Exercise might also help... Ever thought about taking up cycling? :-X

 ;)

I got cramp while pedaling my bike once, nearly flipped over the bars as my calf basically froze and locked in straight position :)

You stopped..it stopped. That's how start/stop works you see.  ;D

It does and I hate it. It saves SFA in petrol and not one extra polar bear will live if you use it.

And if you seen a polar bear nearby the last thing you would want is an engine turning off!

I was invited to a nudist colony, I might go....if I've got nothing on!

In Jamaica a steak pie costs £2. In Trinidad and Tobago and apple pie costs £1.50, and in Bermuda and chicken pie costs £2.50. These are the pie-rates of the Caribbean!
