Poxy aircon bust already. Only lasted a month  :'(

Need to inspect, thoughts? Compressor seals, condenser leak?  :-\

Needs identifying where the leak is. Could be anywhere. Uv glasses and a lamp required if it had die in it.

But condenser is favourite culprit usually. Car cooling link on here somewhere if so. (Link in parts iirc)

Yeah got their details. It's not sounding right either, almost metalic whistling sound from centre vents. Which can be made to sound normal, putting to lo and back again. Climate reset still the same

So inspected it, not got the right tools but can't see anything clear like a big leak. Bottom of the condenser is intact, nothing falling down. Around the compressor looks ok, road but nothing green.

Some dye around HP valve, but could be from when they put it in.

Where the pipes meet the box sort of area?

If so mine went the same. Bought a new standard box and had that welded (braised actually) onto the back of the Irmscher one. Good as new really.

So all is not lost. :)

My condenser was leaking at a pin hole half way up. No way to see it without the right gear. Tbh

If it lasted a month, the leak is very tiny. Hence dye is your friend.  Did they put dye in (if not, they are retards)?  Given you won't have a UV light, led torches at night in the dark are reasonably effective

Most daleks now days use a fluorescent green dye, which is visible by eye, its in the refrigerant.
Check pipes near battery, usual place is bottom of condenser were you cant see it, if you have ramp access, brilliant, otherwise get it up as high as you can and look really close, undertray off to.

Thinking about it, more like two weeks it lasted. Yes dye in, it's going back later this week to be checked.

I changed the HP one (one near air intake) - once re gassed it lasted quite well. Maybe 3 or 4 months. This time just weeks :(
