Blimey. How many of you jumped when it went pop :D

I had an old tyre burst on one of my Triumphs in the garage a few years ago. They were only being used for the car to stand on while doing some restoration work. I heard the explosion from the house which is around 20m away from the garage. Good job I didn't have my head under the car at the time..... :o

Oil & filter change on the Omega. Only a couple more hundred miles until it passes the 200,000 mile mark.
Still drives like a new car - almost.  :)

Put the split charge relay back in it, after deciding it was working after all, and the issue was around my impatience ;D

Finished welding the Mazda.

Naturally the old adage of grinder and paint was employed.

Going to slap some chassis black on it, Alphalan the beJesus out of it, and it'll last another 15 years...

Well, it was yesterday actually (6th), went to a photoshoot with the Monaro to meet up with 3 other Monaros for a feature being done for Classic and Sports Car magazine
Couldnt "play" very much at all as the section of runeay allocated to us at Peterbourogh airfield was just a bit better than a farm track
Between the four cars, just over 1600bhp
March edition of the magazine that comes out in Febuary next

Changed front left tie rod (MOT failed). As both are old and cheap I change tomorrow the other side.

Took the RRS over to our local Toyota dealership thinking about a PX against a Rav 4 hybrid, not impressed after a test drive can't see it being a decent towcar, I've been spoilt by the RRS maybe if a Landcruiser comes up I'll be back will be another  diesel obviously they have my number.

Upto 1,650kgs depending on spec according to Toyota. Not really enough to get excited about.

Changed right side tie rod to Omega and made some cosmetic enhancement with 'Plastic Padding'.
