The Tories are dead in the water. They deserve to lose badly, although the country doesnt deserve Labour in power.
Its going to happen though, and the Tory party needs to either die out completely, or reinvent itself as a genuine conservative and unionist party.
Plenty of votes for Reform, will concentrate the minds of those responsible for rebuilding the Tory party and ensure it goes in the right direction.
There is no point in holding your nose and voting Tory to try and keep Labour out of power.
It just aint going to happen. Its gone way beyond that now.
Society in the UK, for reasons that sane people can't understand, have all turned leftie.  And half the tories, especially those that artificially won a seat  last time are chasing those leftie-centre votes.  The other (probably smaller) half of the tories remain more to the right.  So, as always when they have been in power for a couple of terms, they have self destructed.

Reform is just a sure way to get Labour in, and that braindead idiot Farage knows it. Moronic self-abuser.

Seriously?  :o   ::)   ;D

Yes. If you state that someone has lied, you should provide an example.

Unless, of course, you rely on the BBC et al for your views...
I think even I'd believe the BBC than Carlson, who can't get enough of sucking Putin's piles....

All a vote for reform will do is ensure Starmer gets in with a working majority.
And that simply cannot happen.
We all know he will be the next PM, unless he oppss up badly between now and then.

DRLs cause more issues than they solve because they're generally wired in such a way that the cluster lights come on with them so at night, especially in town where the lack of headlights is less obvious, people think their lights are on.

They're one piece of legislation that needs reminding.
And we need to stop trying to legislate for stupidity, as that's never going to work.

A vote for me as PM is a vote for ridding the country of idiots, and also improves the practice the armed forces get for using live rounds. Win-win.

Goodbye to the classic car market?

But Geoff Buys Cars is a well known youtube retard, and has more inaccurate spin than a tory minister....

Picked up Range Rover this morning, all 4 rear flexi pipes replaced (inner & caliper) + link pipes all up to scratch now., cause of problem rear flexi pipes had disconnected itself from rear link line due to corrosion.👍
Whilst the bits are new, might be would applying some anticorrsion treatment to the metal parts of new flexis, given the amount of salt we have thrown on the road.  Save cleaning them up later to do :y

Range Rover going into my indi today, got a brake fluid leak on rear offside, glad I noticed it before towing the tin tent.
Know where the leak is from, ie, caliper, flex hose or rigid pipework?

Having walked 2 miles to the dentist to have a tooth out, I was told I needed a tooth specialist, and the dentists surgery didn't have any, so need to be referred.  So I walked 2 miles home again.

Its been going on since October, and I've lost count of the number of temporary fillings this tooth has had - including 3 on Friday alone - whilst they play ping pong with whoever the supposed tooth specialist is who keeps rejecting the referral.

How hard can it be?
Just go private for that particular problem, Jaime. You don't have to stay with the private dentist, and I can't see one extraction being that expensive.
Last time I went for a check up, the young lad said I needed to see the hygienist. What? You send schoolchildren to see the hygienist when they're not brushing their teeth properly, not 70 year old men. They are skint, and will do anything to get a few bob out of you. Annual checkups don't cut the mustard. I didn't make an appointment and, if he pushes me next time, I'll tell him to shove it. There is a private dentist just around the corner, and he doesn't insist on regular visits. Toothache=tooth out at my age.
I am private.  I dread to think what service NHS dentists give!!

……………..
Only one is keyless entry, but both are keyless start, so presumably both vulnerable to relay attacks ………….

Although both of mine are keyless, I personally can’t see any benefit from them being keyless. I unlock the door, chuck the key fob in to the double cup holder and off I go. If I grab a drink en-route  I then have to move the key somewhere else.
I can’t leave the key in my pocket as it doesn’t take much pressure to activate the powered tailgate from the key fob.  ::)
My earlier BMW’s had a slot in the dash, which was not only an immobiliser link but also somewhere to park the key.   :y
Some things are just unnecessary.  ::)
Like many other gimmicks, I've actually got quite used to it, and would miss not having it now.  Key stays in pocket all day.

It annoys me her car doesn't automatically unlock when I go to get in ;D

When he asked what to do to prevent a repeat of the theft when he got his replacement he was advised by the Police to purchase a lead lined box to keep the fob in to prevent the thieves from intercepting the transmission between the car and fob.
FFS . ::)

Exceedingly poor advice IMO. SWMBO's former boss had his three day old cayenne turbo nicked off his drive in a "posh" bit of Birmingham. he had done as suggested and secured the keyless entry fob. The thieves used an axe to gain entry to his home and threatened his family for the keys. As far as I'm concerned they can have the car off the drive, its insured for a reason.

And this is the problem.  Police ain't interested any more.  What do law abiding people do, allow anyone to take their possessions?  Then we all grumble about how car and house insurance has skyrocketed.

But at least the ol' bill are catching more speeding motorists, or those using phones, without interrupting the doughnut runs.
