Title: Fuse for boot lamp/ interior light
Post by: Matty_ on 03 October 2022, 18:15:52
Hello everyone, can anyone point me in the direction of the fuse for the boot lamp, the carrier shorted out as it was damaged, and seems to have take out the interior lighting too in the process, are these both of the same circuit does anyone know, the Owner manual isn’t the most useful, thanks!!

Hi ...welcome to the forum

I'd suggest Fuse 12 http://www.omegaowners.com/forum/index.php?topic=90451.0

You need a Haynes manual .... I'm sure the fuses are shown in it

A link would be useful for a newcomer to the site .....  ::)
but the fact that the OP said the owners' manual wasn't much help would suggest he already has one

just looked through the manual via the link .... I'd forgotten about it  ..... Matt is right, the manual isn't much use, I can't find any reference to the boot light.

Fuse 12 same as the cabin lights. Estate operated by a contact switch in the tailgate, saloon I can't remember, but probably similar.

If 12 doesn't do it, try 20.

Quick update, fuse 7 was the issue, in the maintenance manual I have the circuits designated as - check control, engine oil level and courtesy lamp, no mention of boot lamp, anyway that’s the one  :o
