Looks like a lot of fun.

I assume by now you've put it upside down into the scenery somewhere picturesque  :y

🤣🤣 that’s three cars you want in just a couple of sentences, there’s no hope for you 😵‍💫🤣

I'm fortunate in that I have no money or garage space. So it keeps my car fetish at bay....mostly.

Not many names on there I recognize, which isn't surprising considering I'm a Jonny-come-lately with only 10yrs of "service"  ;D

And mightily expensive to refurb both including bypass actuator. I’ve done a couple 😵‍💫.  Stick with the single unless you’re  well off🤣

I'd argue that.300bhp and 450ft lbs is probably enough for a big diesel cruiser, so for my money I'd take a remapped 525/530d over the 535.

That said I had the same lump in my 335d and I couldn't help wondering what a remap might have done for that...  >:D

Was that the Crossfire, Jimmy?

The one that looks like a dog taking a dump when viewed in side profile. :)

No, 300c diesel. Made you look like a seedy Atlantic City nightclub owner, but it was hella comfortable!  8)

. The 525d was a down tuned 3.0d.  :y

This is what I should have bought instead of the Chrysler. They're invariably in a nice old man spec with lots of toys and comfy seats and yet a remap alone will add 100hp and 170nm  :D

My neighbour has a 1960s 3.4 Jaguar which his mother bought new it's simply stunning in red with chrome wire wheels, that's the only Jaguar I'd love to own, the modern versions just don't hit the spot.

If I'd worked harder at school I'd have one of these (assuming you mean a mk2). Always liked the idea of a light blue one to match my dad's e-type.

Then again I also think the first generation xk8 is one of the best looking cars of the last 30yrs. And SWMBO really wants an XK....

An f-type wouldn't go amiss either. ;D

Ot probably only reads the oil level when cold. Once running/hot the level will be very different.

Iirc it only showed on my 335d when certain conditions were met (warm, parked on level ground, something, something else). As VXL V6 mentioned, dipstick is better

Great choice! Hope it serves you well. Not M-sport spec either, which I would consider a big plus   :y

I'm always drawn to not-three-litre-diesel-airport-taxi-spec saloons when they pop up, they usually have interesting backgrounds.  8)

Paging DG,

Saw this on my C&C roundup email, immediately thought of you  ;D

Auction Linky

I think I'd have to have it wrapped though, or possibly start a wedding car business...

I've just bought a pattern crank shaft/position sensor for my Smart!!  :-[

Dealer wanted £164+vat! Pattern Hella sensor was almost £45 delivered .....  :y

Something in the water? Or rather the weather....

The galaxy died at some traffic lights yesterday, started straight back up. Nothing on the diagnostics scan suggests to me a crank position sensor failure brought on by high under bonnet temps.

Sadly with no other evidence to go on my only option is to fire the parts cannon at it  :-\. Still, at £25+VAT it's not a massive ask on one of these.

Retrieved TPC from Gatwick Long stay. The ground all down the right side was covered in glass.

This once happened to my dad in Barcelona airport car park - having a British plate on it, it wasn't a rare occurence. They took his pocket knife and 200 pesetas out the centre console, but left his extensive music collection. He wasn't sure whether to be grateful or put out at this result  ;D

Thar do lad. Local and reasonably priced. You'll not miss it long ;)

7 Seats is a pretty rare option no? Although I'm not sure how useful the third row is, unless your aim is to make young children and midgets vomit in the boot of your car.  :D

The USA needs a good war periodically. They spend far too much on defence to just have the stuff sat about and Iran is as good a target as any just now.

Honestly I suspect that the bombings were just as much about demonstrating US capability as anything else; I doubt it will deter the Iranian 'government' - religious zealots tend to be hard to dissuade - its part of the job description, but hopefully it will set them back a bit.
