been using my MacMini now as my main machine for the past few weeks, must say i like it. Fast, silent running. Safari browser is not too bad either, nice change from IE and Firefox.
Yeah, have you noticed how much faster it is in OSX than XP on the same computer?

Er, that didn't go well.  When I closed the last IE window got the blue screen of death with instant reboot and checkdisk.  That hasn't happened on this computer before.

Still no sign of IE7.

I really don't like MS  >:( >:(
Oh dear, not my fault Guv!

Be aware, MS have set IE7 as an automatic download/install. Which is a shame, as I still think it needs a couple of rough edges sorted, but my contacts there have said they needed it out before Vista went RTM.

I dont find it that much different from IE6. It's like everything else, the more you use it, the more you get used to it.

Fortunately, MS have released a util to prevent the auto download/install of IE7 for a set period.

I bet that util was in yesterday's monthly download and that is what gave me my BSOD.  >:(

......before Vista went RTM.
:-? I saw mention of this in an advert. What is it? I'm considering replacing my PC very soon - before it completely dies - so is it something I need?

It's Microsoft's new OS. I've tried a beta version & it looks good, but personally I'd wait for a while.

We might get it at work by 2020, only just beginning to upgrade to XP!

I think Vista will have already been used by a fair few people - its had one of the biggest open beta programmes of any software...
