Honda CR-V injectors
« on: 09 June 2022, 13:32:51 »

Just had that carbon clean done on my 57 plate / 165k  cr v
Worked pretty well tbh but his diagnosis software pulled up a problem with Number 2 injector.
Basically under 1500 revs it is hardly working to the point the other 3 are having to compensate causing it to misfire at low revs.
I believe they are Bosch injectors but the serial number system is a nightmare trying to find a replacement part.
Local dealers refuse to help at all.
The injector has a grey top with a ‘ B’ on it.
Numbers are as follows

0445 110 1645u r06 e01
Various other markings inc ….

DAASC5
3110

New ones are stupid prices so looking at a known good set of 4 ( for equal flow) and programming / fitting.
Anybody on here help in anyway ??

Is this on a diesel (guessing so as its a Bosch 0445 series injector)

Look for a Bosch remanufactured one (try PF Jones), and replace just one as they are not matched at all, you simply code the injector to the ECU and it modifies the parameters for that cylinder (usually a 6 digit code on the injector)

As for the carbon clean, never seen it actually do anything more than a good heavy drive would do, and when you think about what they are doing, thats probably no surprise  :y

Hi Mark, spot on about the 0445 type.
Managed to source 4 x injectors off the same engine.   73K (allegedly)  90 day warranty for 150 quid before you answered.  Spoke to Kingston Marine back home yesterday and even though they avoid car  stuff nowadays, they will flow check them for me but there not interested in fitting / coding them.
With the car done 165K, I’m going to change all 4.
Don’t suppose you have access to a code reader which will program these do you ?
Struggling to find anyone interested in these neck of the woods
