Hen's tooth quest
« on: 17 June 2022, 12:14:48 »

One of my radiator covers recently got damaged. >:(

It proved easy and not too expensive to locate a brand new part. :y
However, I can't fit the new cover as the small metal clip in the slam panel is missing. It was easy to find the part number (90469435) but it has proved impossible to locate one. I've tried breakers and got nowhere - there seem to be few Omegas being broken and I think they can't be bothered as it's so small, even though I have also requested a scuttle panel at the same time. Even the myriad of auto clips on eBay don't come close to this little b*stard. I guess I'll have to think up a bodge, though I'd prefer to keep original parts where possible.

Far too warm for me to go looking but could you drill it out and fit a nut, bolt and penny washers?

Could do, but holding out for an original fitment.  :y
