He's not, he just sits in one every day. A big black one!  ;D
I've neglected the big black pussy for days, and not spent any time in her.

are we allowed the terms of male & female?

Only if you don't exclude the other 159 variants. :)

My original XFR was a black pussy. Ultimate black I think. Bastard to keep clean but suitably demonic looking in the flesh. :)

10/12 bolts rather than dismantle the engine in situ :D

Who told you that?

Just checked the 494 procedure, no different to any other car, disconnect a load of bits and lift out the top (and thats the straight six)

Also checked the 320, again no different to any other or the 494

None are body off jobs  :y

Looms will have multiplex plugs, and the brake lines can stay with the chassis. Just unbolt the master from the booster.

Presumably this is referring to the L320 RR Sport? IIRC these were basically an L319 (Disco 3) in a party frock and these too had a number of body off jobs.

In all cases, I think the jobs were *possible* without removing the bodies, but experience showed it was easier and quicker to do. As said, its about a dozen bolts, brake lines, some electrical connectors etc. the issue is having the lift (and roof space) to do it.

Not the documented method at all, just how they have chosen to do it, can't say it looks easier either (engine change time is about 7 hours using the prescribed approach)
