As a nipper I went to a C of E school.

Church was a great opportunity to stop off at the 'ciggy shop' where the owner would sell us individual cigarettes and a book of matches. We were about 9 or 10 at the time. :)

Much later I heard rumours that the vicar had been caught 'kiddy fiddling'. Not sure how true those rumours were.

A brewery in Norfolk has changed the name of one of it's ales from White Face, after a customer remarked it could be racist. It's named after a hare for gods sake.  ::)
