Cut out the perished PAS hose and replaced with new. Now God is emptying his bathtub so the testing will have to wait.
But I am post night shift so now time for a cuppa and a nap....

You're lucky, still ultra dry and now muggy with it down here. My lawn looks like the Atacama. Even the breeze is hot.

Washed it. Somehow it looks less abandoned in spite of the saggy bottom on one side...

I do, every time I go outside to do anything on the car.  Wind and bloody rain.

Put a new o/s steering rack gaiter[which it had failed M.o.T. on] and new o/s track rod end[which was an advisory] on the V70 and booked it for re-test for next Tuesday.Total of £18.35p in parts so can't complain at that.

Spent yesterday underneath a mates woodworm nest, trying to set the suspension so the chassis is level-ish.

Are you an architect with grey hair and thin wire-rimmed specs?

We are supposed to believe this is the typical Saab owner.  :y

Nice car.

Washed both of them this morning.  Suspect with all the harvesting going on, it will look every bit as bad by the morning...

Got a dose of pinkeye on the Alabama Mumsybus.

Swapped out the offending bulb and normal xenon lighting resumed.

Have to say, bulb access is a breeze, even if you can't quite see where your fingers are.

Finally managed to pin down a pair of rear springs for the Alabama Mumsybus ready to delete the air suspension.

Had to resort to a pair of current model Grand Cherokee springs as the R Class ones seem to be on permanent back order and Bilstein only have one (I mean wtf) left, with no intention of producing any more, and the one ebay seller that has listed one used spring is apparently retarded :-X

Not going to ask four times if they have a pair if they CBA to reply to the first three messages.
