"The Tool Station"
« on: 31 March 2009, 12:24:09 »

I`ve just been given a catalogue from a company called The Tool Station.
`Not heard of the company before, but the catalogue is full of good stuff and in some ways they seem better than the Screwfix catalogue`s ranges.
Has anybody bought from the "Tool Station"?....are they reliable deliverers?

Yep - I have used them over several years (they also have a depot in Reading which recently opened).

Prices are competitive with Screwfix.  Actually I heard that it was started by someone who left Screwfix.

Some of their tools are crap but you get what you pay for.  Delivery has always been good (they often have free postage over 10 quid which is pretty good).   When there has been a problem they have always sorted it out.

I recommend them :y

I'd heard that too.

Funny both SF and TS have trade depots virtually opposite each other in Reading.

Do you reckon you would get extra embarrassment bonus working at a place called 'tool station'?
