Every once in a while, after the car has been parked for around a week, I go to start it and find the battery as flat as a witches mammary gland.
I drove it last Friday and was going to drive it again yesterday evening, and although everything electrical lit up and worked ok, there wasn't quite enough grunt in the battery to turn the engine over.
Battery is newish and I would be surprised if its on the way out, but its possible I suppose.
Where to start to look for the source of electric leaking out of the car ? :-\
Its not my strong point tbh. Not quite sure what is, but I know electrickery isn't. :D

Check the current draw across the 6 fuses on top of the battery and report back ;)

Albs, you say that you are confident that your battery is ok, but it's quick and easy to get a "drop-test" done at a tyre/battery place to be sure. The test will show if there is enough cranking power and/or total capacity in the battery.
That way you will start from an informed position before chasing possibly non-existent current drains.

It's an Omega ::) there will be 3-4 amps escaping between the battery and the cabin fusebox. Finding them will be an interesting challenge for Albs night shifts ;)

I may be wrong, (most probably am ;D), but i was once informed that a drop test can knacker an older battery. Is this possible?

This, /\ /\, they may recharge and show correct Volts etc, but once allowed to go flat a few times whilst connected, they never recover to there designed potential.
Just pull the Neg Lead off the Battery if your going to leave the Car to stand for a while (Power Sounder needs to be Removed) or get a simple Battery Terminal Iscolater to do the same job.
