Panettone , shops sell this stuff at Xmas. We got given a chocolate one.

Just out of interest did you treat as a cake, or bread?
I never considered the possibility of toasting it with a bit of marg on it... 🤔

Anything that once lived in water.

I know what I've done to contaminate waters around the world.
reminds me of sitting drinking a beer in Africa at the Lamin Lodge , the menu "fresh strimp  ,caught here" (shrimp)
the toilet was just a drop down into the mangrove swamp  :-X
needless to say we ate elsewhere  :D

Good question. It is neither. I was hungry so shovelled the crumbs in.

Sir Tigger. It is Italian. In Southern Spain, they don’t really do cakes. Toast and tomato and jamon .mmmm

Yep, and anything that drops out of a Chicken's @rse. :y

I have a very long list of things I wont eat (much to swmbos annoyance) but that is very near the top of the list. The fact that they smell just like human waste should surely be a warning ?

My dad used to crack a raw egg into a cup, vinegar, salt, pepper.....gloop it down. Breakfast sorted.

My Grannies live in lover did the same. He was a fickin maniac though. Im sure he was possessed by the spirit of Fagan.
My poor old Mum wasnt allowed to go to school very often. He made her go out begging to get money for his drink. Then he threw her out on the street in the clothes she was stood in at 16, because she found God.
Could have been worse. He tried to blind her brother with a red hot poker. Granny whacked him round the head with the frying pan and knocked him out.
When he sobered up and came round, he didnt remember anything about it.  ::)

Ah, the good old days. Your grannie should have hit him several times, with a 4lb lump hammer.

In the good old days Granny would have danced on the end of a rope for that sort of behaviour.  :)
