Now, what has ragged me off....

Yesterday I fitted the new light cluster, and to get it to align with the bodywork, there are some torx E4 adjusters.  Not having an E4 socket, I had to struggle with some pliers.

This morning, I found a Clarke E4 - E24 rail of sockets.  Grrrr   ;D

Isn't that always the way though ? Last week my neighbour was struggling with changing the shock absorbers & other various parts on his 09 Passat ,he asked if I had any sockets he could borrow I found a set in the garage that I hadn't touched for around 17 years which did the job easily, I told him to keep them as my days of "tinkering" with cars are well & truly over.

I'll forget by then, seeing as I don't plan on doing any more this side of the weekend....

Fikkin' useless tin pot couriers.

Another no-show for something promised today, which means we can't repair something quite important to the internet for another day.

Mongrels.
I wonder if they would improve the quality of their service if they knew that the basic function of their systems depended on said delivery... 🤔
Needless to say, the guaranteed, absolutely promise, "we'll get it to you in the morning" hasn't happened either.

To be honest, with this particular company (who shall remain nameless, but they are Israeli and make storage arrays ;)), I knew on Wednesday when the part failed that they would be utterly unable to get a replacement to us when promised.  In fairness to said company, its not them, its their utterly useless UK based logistics company.

Now that a rocket has been inserted into somebody's a-hole and let off*, I'm expecting a call from the logistic place apologising but he's just had an accident or his granny has died.

*Because if it don't arrive in the next hour or so, buggered if I'm going into central London beyond about 3pm to fir the poxy thing  >:(.  It won't opps up my Internet (probably)

being told that the ring I'd ordered for Mrs B's birthday next week will arrive after her birthday despite me ordering it well enough in advance for it to arrive in time. The shop assistant apologised but an apology won't get the ring to Mrs B in time for her significant birthday!!!!!!!!!!  >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(

Have you considered collecting numbers? It won't fix anything, but at least you'll have something to show for your troubles  ;)

Chiltern, again.

Still, it’s currently on time , ish, but peak time train is 2 carriages.  And being to stooopid kid from the local comprehensive, I predicted it would be busy.

On the upside, unlike yesterday, there is still some standing room left with 2 more stops to do….

I might have a hi vis.  For reasons I fail to grasp, they are mandatory in some of our datacenters

He still needs a tartan painted Thermos, NHS spectacles and a bobble hat. Think Duane Dibley in a Hi-vis vest :)

For some reason we now have to wear a hi-vis and safety shoes to collect a car from the storage compound  ???
