Collected the caravan & all set for a few days in Yorkshire, it's a hard life this retirement lark..😂
Very rarely use satnav, don't go to many places that I've never been before, had our 20 year old grandson on a trip out with us a few weeks ago & he just couldn't understand why I didn't need satnav at all. It's not so much for the guidance, as, like many i've spent all my driving life driving around the Country for work, it's more for the traffic / road information / speed limit functions that I find useful
I was impressed with how the accuracy of the navigation system is with the GPS antenna disconnected. Over 30 miles driven, and its still cock-onMust admit, in a World that's obsessed with using their phones for navigation I thought I was alone in still using the built in Nav's on our cars!
Well I had two Runway Enduro Sports fitted to the rear of the Mondeo this afternoon costing a grand total of £164.28.
I didn't slide into the ditch on the way home either.
Hmmm, need to get front tyres for the V70. Don't know if I should go for Rainsport 5's as per the rear or something else
My V70 has Rainsports on the rear and are survivors of the full set I put on it a few years ago and Sailun Atrezzos on the front when I wasn't feeling so flush when the fronts needed replacing a couple of years ago.
