The US financial markets love it, European markets not so much, especially Germany, Italy and Spain.

Yep Elon Musk is significantly richer today as Tesla is up 13%.   :)

Apparently Musky is worth around £280 Billion. :o :o

......and we have Starmer moaning about a paltry £20 billion lost in some black hole in another universe. 8)

Elon could probably find that much down the back of the sofa. :)

The dollar, has surged, bitcoin is up.......and the Russian stock market has added over 2% ;D

That might be enough for them to buy Alaska back for the $7million that America paid 160 years ago. After all, Trump is a master at making deals....

Well, at least you know pretty much where you are with Trump, love him or hate him, I’d rather his type than the lying, woke, corrupt, egoistic, self propagating mother fu@k;rs  we have.

Lammy needs to go first he is an idiot, followed by some of the other fools who put our national interests at risk through their trolling. Trump likes us but Tw@&ts like him/them just wind him up you’ve got to play the game, after all why not?

Three flights today...

First one, (D153 to R247) 7am from Germany to Lundun... "It's not going well" When we arrived in Lundun I did give him the R267 news. He took it well. >:D

Second one, (D211 to R267) Lundun to Denmark... "I'm covering the election, I just need to send this email"
Actually, I need you to put your laptop away because you're sat by an exit.
"But it's really bad..."
Let me put it another way... When Alaska is counted, he's won. Everything else is gravy and delaying this flight for your email won't change that. The chap from Florida sat behind her had the decency not to laugh out loud

Third one... (D233 R274ish) Denmark back to Lundun. Twenty something boards in floods of tears.

Good afternoon madam, are you an anxious flyer?
"No, I ok, it's just that Kamalala has lost"
Worst case, tomorrow it might rain. But seriously, you've 155 ish million voters and the current tally is about 130 million votes cast... That's actually something to celebrate compared to the last UK election."

Off to the States on Friday... Could be entertaining.

That's the thing though no body ever really knows what he will do. Quite telling that neither Putin, Xi or the Mad Mullah have congratulated him.  ;)

I doubt Little Rocket Man has either!  ;D

Meanwhile over in the Fatherland Olaf Scholz has sacked the Finance Minister and leader of the FDP Christian Lindner, ending Germanys so called 'traffic light' coalition. Elections will be held in the New Year and I'd imagine this will be a good opportunity for the AfD to gain ground in the Trump 2.0 'honeymoon period'?  ???

My A Level German wasn't great to begin with, but what I watched on Tuesday evening was the usual roll out of one pro Trump to three anti and the left leaning host. The gist was that it could have implications for the German automotive industry and NATO as a whole, but they struggled with the comparison of Trump to that chap from Austria as they felt that it wasn't helpful rhetoric... Not least because it distracted form the various policy proposals, especially foreign trade.

Obviously Trumps remarks regarding tariffs were largely directed towards China and Mexico and the export of jobs by Ford and GM along with the import of substandard vehicles from China, but as ever things get reported out of context "because it's Trump" and the shift in narrative becomes the context rather than what was actually said or the intention behind it.

It would be nice to think that perhaps that behaviour was somewhat justified in 2015/16 but 8 years later? This election was a clearly defined result and so this presidency should be taken on merit rather than the previous nonsense.
