Fitted a new sink today
« on: 31 December 2008, 18:56:35 »

We had new stainless steel appliances last year, and the current sink was leaking, stained, and the tap was worn out - also white plastic - looked yuk.

So today I fitted a new stainless 1.5 bowl sink with tap.

Fitted service valves as well.

Just got to fit a U bend - old drain pipework has now been cleaned.

Old sink had rounded ends and was shallower, had to cut out corners and about 20mm along the back - quick trip out for better blades.

old sink was slightly wider - had to chop out part of the cupboard as the 0.5 bowl was fouling on it

I had worked out the drain prior and had soldered up the pipework ready - just had to cut to size and connect to the stops.
