reprogramming key
« on: 18 September 2010, 20:16:51 »

Hi guys,
lost my key so pulled out the spare. works manually. took it to Perrys who want £40 to reprogram. OK but last year battery got drained and had to pay around £40 to get reset codes.
I have lost the codes I paid for but have now found the original card with codes. Are the codes I paid for the same as the original? or will I have to pay for new codes all over again?

a key shouldn't lose the ability to talk to the car.

codes are for life.

it sounds like the key has lost sync...

put it in the ignition and turn to position 1 or 2, then press either button.

doors should lock and unlock (if the procedure needed doing) then bobs your uncle  :y
