Net immigration figures out today of 685,000.

A 10% drop from the year before:

Adding context to a big scary number? It will never catch on. Nobody wants to know that 685,000 in a population of 68million is a terrifying 1%....

So in thirty, forty, or fifty years where does that leave us?.........bearing in mind where we already are regarding cultural change especially in our 3 largest cities London, Birmingham, and Manchester.

It leaves you dead 

Quite possibly because I'll be 84 in fifty years from now, whereas you are already sitting comfortably in Gods waiting room, waiting for a tap on the shoulder from the big man upstairs.

The Mondeo's renewal has come in. 

Last year: £171.65
This year: £257.01

An increase of £85.36, just shy of 50%! 

That sounds quite high for a man of advanced year from rural Darzett driving something as mundane as a Mondeo.

Twice what I pay for my classic Vauxhall.

1.22 million arrivals.......roughly 530,000 departed.

They look like something you would find on the arse end of something that won't rev past 5000RPM and belches out thick black smoke.

Sought after classic Vauxhall due on 9th June.

The Mexican coupe due on 15th June.

I'm hoping I can insure the pair for  less than £500 if I shop around.

Both insured now.

M240i X-Drive............................£338.

Classic sought after Vauxhall which you are all jealous of ........£134

Total...£472.

I had to 'shop around' more than usual though as it appears insurance has gone up by about 30% this year.

It really does look much better, but BMW are not about to fit them as standard. That would be an extra £10,000.

 BMW M2 is roughly £15000 more than the M240. I suppose BMW want to differentiate between the poverty spec M240i M-Lite and the full fat M car.

Personally I can't see £15000 worth of difference between the two.

Chav my zorsts. 

In photo one I thought they looked on the large side but in photo two they look great.    Looks like a proper M car now. 

Some of the backward facing baseball cap wearing 'max power' boys probably go for 4 or 5 inches......but these are 3.5 inches which is the same as standard on the M2.

Personally I think they should have come like this as standard.

I really dislike the trapezoidal exhaust tips that came as standard. I think they make the car look like a godless black smoke belching planet-destroying derv from behind.

Quite pleased with these 'chinky produced' but well made heavily chromed tips from the land of the slitty eye, which cost just £80 delivered.

Bigger brand names were anywhere between £200-£400.
