Firewall test lab
« on: 11 March 2007, 12:56:38 »

I've got to create a "firewall test lab" for work, so our team can practice and learn about firewalls.

Any experienced IT guys, I wouldn't mind knowing how you think I can play this and what environment to set up, I can request servers, firewalls, etc. Need to work with watchguards and netscreens.

Need to set lots of excercies for the team to do, such as identifying attacks, closing ports, looking in logs etc... so looking for some crude ideas on excercises I could set and what infrastructure I could set up

Not cheating, just looking for helpful ideas

:)
