If your car fails an MOT and you take to another MOT station for the retest with the fail sheet do they just check the originel fail work has been done or is it a full retest

Like the idiot I am I have shredded the failure note I got today, but I'm sure it mentioned that if you return to the same testing station within ten days then they just re-check the failed items. If you are still stuck for an answer tomorrow Pete, I can find out for you.

I will be doing the discs, pads, wishbones, flushing the cooling system and changing the anti freeze, plugs, oil and oil filter, airfilter, fuel filter cleaning the breathers and hopefully sorting the alarm problem at mine on wednesday onwards if anyone wants to come along :y

And in answer to your question....no they wont......they will re-test from scratch.

And it wont fail on the manifold unless it upsets the emmisions which is unlikely....
