well done for passing, but i usually will have my car  serviced at MOT time, and instruct the garage to "get it through" after doing the easy jobs myself like bulbs, tyres  and wipers, takes away a lot of pain and worry until i get their bill...

Mine gets serviced about every 6-8 weeks because of the mileage I do

I resent paying a garage to do any repairs on my car when I'm perfectly capable of doing it myself
