As im new here Just wondering if there would be an meets coming up in the SO or PO postcodes as I would like to meet a few of you OOF members and see what sort of things I can do to mine etc

Nothing planned in this area that I'm aware of but no reason why we can't organise one. ;)
Would be happy to bring the Tech 2 along subject to my availability on the day, of course.

On a personal basis I'm a bit of a tart when it comes to a meet and I'll turn up where ever you decide it's going to be,It'll be a nice change to come down to the coast,lets hope if it happens the weathers gonna be good for us on the day 8) :y

I'm going too the Kent meet next Saturday 21/1/12 so depending on the attendance on the day I'll see if I can persuade some of the guys to take a run down,the fresh air will do them a bit of good ;)it'll make their little cheeks all lovely and rosy :-[ (and the ones on their faces as well 8) :y

Not sure what the usual day is like
What time does everyone usually turn up?
Bit of i dim question i`m sure but what exactly goes on?
Fraid i dont have much knowledge to exchange but am keen to learn whatever i can.
Maybe the 10th would be best date for me.

O.K I'll start the ball rolling and with a bit of luck one or two others might chip in,depending where and when we meet will dictate wether cars can be worked on so for instance the Kent meet this coming Saturday is held at a cafe with a large car park but not really suitable to fix cars,so what happens there is a bit of breakfast and a bit of a chin wag.then at the other end of the scale there is the High Wycombe meet which sees a lot more cars with various levels of problem solving with some very knowledgable members who will generally have at least one Tech 2 to help with any diagnostic problems etc.So it just depends which meet you decide to come too but which ever you choose you'll be welcomed.As to the proposed Hampshire meet this is a new venue so if it happens there's a possibility that you would'nt be alone as a newcomer so just turn up and chill out 8) :y

Don't worry Adam this will be my first meet to so I'm unsure to :) where are some good venues to meet up in the Southampton Portsmouth area then any ideas people

Hi All
Need to find a friendly pub or Cafe with a good sized car park. I also belong to a local motorcycle club and meetings tend to have no structure- just turn up and chat about your vehicles or anything else.
I live in Havant and would be up for a meet somewhere

I'd be up for this as my first meet, I came in late on last years cambelt meet and was bad date for me which I was well hacked off about >:( Sounded like a good day from reports
Of dates mentioned the last date would be best for me, I'm in Fareham where the girls don't wear 'em ;D

I cant help but notice a lot of people interested but no one wanting to take the lead.
Unfortunately there will be no cambelt meet organised by me this year, despite the facilities I have access to. I just wont be around due to work :(

At the moment I'm going to have to put me on hold re the meet as I have run out of mot ( two front wishbones and 2 rear shocks)
Plus I've got to do my cam cover gaskets and clear breathers so I'm out for 2 weeks gutted !!!!!!!

In the absence of any other suggestions, my local pub in Four Marks has a large car park and is large enough inside to give us an area to meet up out of the way of other punters, I reckon. Not currently doing food but plenty of take-aways in the area. Might be worth an enquiry unless we're set on being on the coast?

Let me scout around local area find good spots and I will post up my opinions see what everyone thinks how bout that will also see weather can get law onside too

Nice one,I'm definately up for a meet,and I know of others in my area that are interested,and hopefully if you can get a meet together it may well become a regular spot pulling in forum members from areas that dont have a regular set meet :y

Alternate Wednesdays (7/3, 21/3, 11/4, etc) are off the agenda as that's my chemo day, and I'll be in Leics from 12/3 - 16/3 visiting my daughter.....other than that I have any day spare if you fancy it.

Hi all I've organised a place for our meet it's not the largest but big enough for a meet and it's a quiet location fields around us and if I ask nicely we may be able to use ramps as its an old garage I worked in the postcode is so21 2na but I suggest we meet at Winchester services southbound and convoy over there it's bout 10 mins away rural location and no old bill to bother us 15th April 12-4 sound with everyone ;D ;D :y
