We had an Essex meet last year - April iirc - at the shoulder of mutton, Aldham. it was quite a pleasant day,we even had 2 of the admins  who made the journey, so hopefully Johnnycboy will organise another next spring. :y

Don't think he remembers much about the day and certainly not the evening - passed out on the kitchen floor as I recall!! ;D ;D Poor Karen and the kids had to entertain me on their own. ::)

Us Suffolk boys would like to make the journey if a meet gets organised!  That's assuming we'll be allowed across the border...  :-/

I'm sure John will organise something in the next few months but I know he's had/got a lot on his plate at the moment ;)

Anyone else want to take over organising?

Not much point me organising as there is a good chance I will be working when it happens. Having said that, if people are happy to have it at the same place - iirc the landlord was more than happy to have us, so its just a matter of agreeing a date (via a poll) and then turning up on the agreed day. :y
I dont mind calling in as Im passing and double checking things with the landlord.

Be a good idea to make a courtesy call ;) ;)

I would suggest we leave it till April time in hope that the weather improves :y

Although I'm working most weekends in April :(
