Can i ask is it possible to just visit on the Sat as unable to stay over night.

Steve i had exactly the same problem with my wifey, thought this aint going to go well but furk me when she got there she bloody loved it.
Loads of Girlies and kids and dogs and big hairy arsed blokes under cars :y :y

Seriously though, do the site pitches get fully booked? I suppose it's a job to predict. I've probably left it too late to show an interest now but have been weighing up the options, work permitting.
1. Do I take a chance with the Omega and caravan, bearing in mind that I may have a wasted journey?
2. Do I visit in our other car with a little dome tent in the boot on the off chance of a space?
On a selfish note, I've been looking at a trip to Lydney (VW Transporter Land) and this is quite close to Newent. Not that I don't love you guys. ;D ;D
Just need enough Costa Coffee's and shops to get SWMBO interested in coming along. :y

YZ250 - the ladies, aka Widows of OOF, tend to go to Gloucester docks or similar on the Saturday for shopping, whilst the boys get excited over Omegas....
I'm sure Mrs YZ250 would be welcome to join either group if she didn't fancy looking at camper vans ;D

Ah, you sussed me on the camper vans then. ;D I've harboured a desire for a VW T5 Transporter Kombi Raceline for a while now. Not overly bothered about the camper version, I just want a van, I don't need one, I just want one. ;D

I pm'd Dazzle a while ago about newent and didnt get a reply, so i wouldnt worry about it.....
I think you should be fine staying.....last year there were 15 tents on the confirmed list, this year, so far, theres 8 tents. Just confirm it with dazzle if staying fri/sat night and send him a tenner and pay the rest to him on site.
I plan to stay thurs evening as well, so im going to contact Gail (site owner) directly :y

you should girle up and just tell him your going and thats that ( looks over shoulder) thats what i do with wifey i bloody tell or else yeah she knows ( looks over shoulder again) and if she dissagrees then she may be slap time.

Ha bloody ha. :P The indicators are standard, it's the 'using them' that is optional. ;) ;) :y
If it had a towbar fitted I would be taking it to Newent as I know that so many people are secretly fond of them. ::) ::) ;)

After. Think I got through about 4 pints of that before I moved on to its' stronger, darker predecessor. That's where my memory ends, oddly enough.
